* The Council are Leasing School house for the Derwent Valley Community House.
In 2002 DVC became the sole owner of WCC, since then they have sold 11 buildings and attempted find adaptive reuses for the remainder.
There is an agreement with Heritage Tasmania that mean all proceeds from the sale or subdivision of Willow Court by the DVC is directly injected into the stabilization and project management of the site.
The Wards circled in BLUE are owned by the Derwent Valley Council, the rest are private.
This has been really useful, thanks. It gives things a bit more context. Until now, I thought the DVC owned more. Would be interesting to know what the private owners of the historic buildings within the actual Willow Court precinct are (and are allowed to be) doing with their investments.
